Pakistani Sweet and Tangy Aloo Channa Chaat / Khatti Meethi Aloo Channa Chaat
Ingredients
Aloo Channa Chaat
- 2½ cups boiled chickpeas
- 2 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled, and diced
- 1 cup sweet tamarind chutney
- 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1¼ teaspoon chaat masala
- ½ teaspoon dried mango powder
- ¾ teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt, to taste
Garnish
- Sliced tomato
- Sliced lemon or lime
- Sliced green chilies
- Sliced onions
- Chopped cilantro
Instructions

In a large bowl, gently combine all of the ingredients for the Aloo Channa Chaat. Taste and adjust seasonings. Garnish as desired.
Recipe Notes
Allow Khatii Meethi Aloo Channa Chaat to sit for a few hours before serving. This ensures that the flavors have melded together.
