French Toast

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup full-fat or reduced-fat milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 8 slices of thick sliced bread (brioche or sourdough)

Instructions

  1. Add flour to a bowl and slowly whisk in the milk.  Mix in the remaining ingredients until everything is incorporated.
  2. Heat a lightly greased pan over medium low heat. Dip each slice of bread in the mixture, making sure both sides are coated. Cook the french toast until golden brown on both sides, about 2 minutes on each side.
