Jalapeño Cheddar Chicken Burgers

Ingredients

Burgers

  • 1 ½ pounds minced chicken
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ½ cup minced cilantro
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Assembly/Topping Suggestions

  • Burger Buns
  • Pico de gallo
  • Guacamole
  • Salsa
  • Lettuce

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients for the burgers and mix gently. Divide into 6 portions, and gently shape into patties.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Apply a bit of oil and cook the patties until no longer raw, about 6 minutes on each side.
  3. Assemble as desired.
