With the warm days of fasting, we like to break our fast with light and cooling meals. Luckily, South Asian cuisine has plenty of options that fit the bill. This Dahi Boondi(mini gram flour dumplings in yogurt sauce) are a regular in our home, and make for a wonderfully light and refreshing Iftar and appetizer/side dish.

Dahi Boondi
Ingredients
- I cup prepared boondi
- 2 cups yogurt
- Water or milk as needed
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon chaat masala
- Salt as needed
- 1 potato peeled and cut into bite size chunks
For topping
- 1 onion diced finely
- 1 to mato diced finely
- Handful cilantro
- Pinch of salt
- ½ lime juiced
